Geological Representation of Kawauchi area

By connecting geological knowledge and sculptural method, this exhibition challenged to represent natural environment around the host area. The concept was based on an idea to relive geologists’ perspective.

川内地域の地質と表象

会場となる青葉の風テラスの位置する川内周辺地域で見られる地層を題材に、地質学の知見と美術の手法を組み合わせた展示を展開することで、会場内にとどまらない周辺地域の地層まで取り込んだインスタレーションとしての展示の実現を試みたもの。地質学者の視点を追体験することをコンセプトの基底とした。
