Stripping outcrops' surface encouraged me to consider the act of peeling off superficial layers such as skinning an animal or shedding an old skin. As for this work, layers which belong to different spatiotemporal scales are forced to co-exist by being knitted.

地層を剥ぎ取るという行為から、脱皮したり、革を剥いだりというように、表層を剥がし取ってしまうことについて考えた。ここでは、更にそれらを縫い合わせ、時空間スケールの異なる表層を混在することを試みた。
