Penetrate

When you hold your hand against the sun, it allows light to go through itself and gets red transparently. I wonder why we think our body is opaque regardless of the fact that light penetrates it. When order of superficial layer and internal portion gets obscure, light wander back and forth among us, and a rule about time and space becomes fluid.

太陽に手をかざす。手は光を通し、向こうが真っ赤に透ける。皮膚は光を反射しきれず、それを私たちの内へと通過させてしまう。こんなにも光は私たちの身体にしみているのに、どうして私は私の身体を不透明だと思ったのだろう。表層と内側という秩序が曖昧になるとき、光は私やあなたを自由に行き来するようになり、時空の秩序もほどけていく。
